Asma Hussain is a board member of IREST. She hails from Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Ms Hussain is a researcher with about ten years’ experience in higher education, where her research mainly on human rights. She has a keen interest in research methodology and has experience in a range of qualitative, quantitative and transformative research approaches. Ms Hussain is a guest faculty in the University of Delhi. She has published widely research papers on human rights, social issues and gender equality in national journals.
She has completed her Master’s degree in Political Science with UGC NET and awarded Molana Azad National fellowship. Ms Hussain was also awarded medal for Academic Excellence. Currently she is pursuing Ph. D in human rights. Her career interests lie at the nexus of research and education, which continues to drive her advocacy for accessible, high-quality education for all.
